Beehive Strategic Communication is looking for an account coordinator to join our team. Beehive is an independent, strategic communication firm, Certified B Corporation and WBENC certified women-owned business. We work nationally and globally with leading brands in health and life sciences, financial services, professional services, commercial real estate and construction, education, and energy and environmental services. Key services include brand positioning; change management communication; crisis management and business continuity, workplace culture and employee experience; digital strategy; public relations; purpose, mission and values alignment.
Overview
The account coordinator will support account leads on a client portfolio and play a key role in agency marketing and sales. The ideal candidate has at least one year of public relations and strategic communication experience at an agency. They are a strategic thinker, strong writer and project manager, with emerging client consulting, media relations, social media and research skills.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Supports account leads on PR, communication and marketing assignments, including: writing communications like meeting agendas, bylines, news releases, FAQs and social media posts; conducting competitive and trend research; developing media lists and pitching media
- Executes communication strategies that drive program outcomes and meaningful business results
- Measures program/campaign results; develops highlights and insights aligned to client business objectives
- Works to full potential and consistently delivers best work – on strategy, error free, on time and on budget; demonstrates high level of accountability
- Writes newsletter articles, blog posts, news releases, news briefs, social media content and bylines for agency; manages content calendar

Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in PR, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- 1 year of professional experience at an agency
- Located in the greater Twin Cities metro area; able to attend in-person meetings and staff media events as needed

- Salary range = $50,000 - $53,000, dependent on experience
